WEEK 5
My journey to work

1
Hi! I'm Cécile. I'm an office worker in a language school in Paris. I don't work near my home, so every day I travel to work by train.
2
I usually get up early, at 5.30 a.m., because my train leaves just after six. I walk to the train station — it's about fifteen minutes from my flat.
3
I always get the 6.20 train to Paris. It's usually very busy, but I don't mind — I usually read a book on the train. It's a nice way to start the day.
4
When I arrive in Paris, I sometimes cycle from the station to work. There's a bike-share station right outside, so it's quick and easy.
5
On Fridays, my day is different — I don't take the train to work. I work from home in the morning, and in the afternoon, I run in the park near my house.
